This is the first settings page you will encounter using UAT2. Pay attention to the tabs on the left for different setting groupings.

Logo Image or Site Title
Choose whether to show the “Site Title” that you set in the “Settings -> General”, or to display a large and/or small logo that you upload.
Logo – Desktop & Tablet
Upload the logo that you want to display on large screens, including desktop computers and tablets.
Logo – Mobile
Upload the logo that you want to display on small screens, including phones. If you do not want a different mobile logo, upload the desktop image here as well.
This will hide the WordPress Tagline set in “Settings -> General” on mobile and/or desktop and tablet screens. You can also leave both blank.
Checking this box will make the header and navbar stick to the top of the screen.
Checking this box will hide the main navbar. You may want to do this and only have the Top menu displaying.
Check this box to hide the Top Menu that displays on the top right corner of your website.
Choose how many columns of footer widgets you want on your website. You can manage these areas under “Appearance -> Widgets”.
The Amazon Affiliate Terms are here by default, but you can change this to anything you would like. We recommend making the terms more specific to your website name.
Here is the default Amazon Terms included in UAT. As these disclaimers are subject to change, we DO NOT GUARANTEE this is accurate. As an Amazon Associate, it is up to you to have the proper affiliate disclaimer.

Checking this box will hide the automatic copyright notice generated by UAT2 that displays at the very bottom of your website footer.
Post Archive – Layout Type
Choose the layout for your “posts” archive, tag, category, & all other post archive pages.

Posts Archive Page Heading (H1 tag)
This is the main heading and H1 tag on your “posts” archive page. This is the page that is set in “Settings -> Reading” to display your blog posts on.
Posts Archive Page Intro
This is a WordPress editor that you can use to add any content you want at the top of your blog archive page. This is the page that is set in “Settings -> Reading” to display your blog posts on.
Post Single Layout Type
This is the layout type for your single blog posts. The sidebar are in these is managed under “Appearance -> Widgets -> Default Sidebar” .

Hide Featured Image on Single Post
Checking this box will hide the featured image on your single blog posts.
Only Display Post Excerpt
Checking this box will make it so that only an excerpt will be displayed on all post archives. If you add an excerpt to a single post, or use the editor’s “More” tag, and that will override the automatically generated excerpt.
Default Featured Image
Upload an image here to be used as a default post image when the Featured Image is missing or not uploaded. This image should be at least 600px wide by 400px high to display properly. If you do not select a default featured image here, one that is included with the theme will be displayed automatically.
Hide Featured Image
This will hide all featured images on all post archives.
Hide Comments Area on All Pages
Checking this box will hide the comments section on all pages. This does not disable comments, you must go to the WordPress “Settings -> Discussion” settings page to disable comments and trackbacks completely.
This sets the width of the main content section, and the sidebar section for all templates that have a content and sidebar area.
- Wide Column Width (Large Screens) – This is the column your main content is displayed in. This field and the field to the right must equal 12 Columns.
- Thin Column Width (Large Screens) – This is the column the sidebar is located in. This field and the field to the left must equal 12 Columns.
- Wide Column Width (Medium Screens) – This is the column your main content is displayed in. This field and the field to the right must equal 12 Columns.
- Thin Column Width (Medium Screens) – This is the column the sidebar is located in. This field and the field to the left must equal 12 Columns.
Post category & Tag Archives Tab
A new WYSIWYG field has been added to the category edit screen for each category, and also for the tags. If you fill this out it will be displayed at the top of the category or tag archive page.
404 Page Tab
404 Page Content
Here you can add any content that you would like to be displayed on your 404 page – the page that displays for all non-existent pages and posts.
This tab is for those settings that just didn’t fit anywhere else.
Enable Google Analytics Event Tracking
Checking this box will let UAT2 send data back to your Google Analytics account about what tables are clicked, what links, and more.
Custom Code for the HEAD Tag
If you have any scripts or meta tags that need added to the <head> tag on your website, enter it here.

Custom Code to Add before the Closing <body> Tag
Any scripts here will be added right before the closing body tag on your website. Use this space when third party script installation instructions tell you to ad it before the closing body tag.
